An illustrated talk by distinguished art-historian Dr. B. N. Goswamy titled ‘A Raging Battle, With No End In Sight: Gods and Demons in Indian Painting’. This will be followed by a short dance performance by Malavika Sarukkai, the eminent Bharatanatyam dancer-choreographer, known for the intellectual depth and creative vision she brings to her choreographies. In her programme Gods and Demons, dark energies rise to battle against the effulgence of light as an ancient myth comes to life.
