The finale of the Mumbai Dance Season culminates with this evening co-conceptualised by Sandhya Purecha and Gauri Sharma Tripathi with the NCPA. The evening will include senior dancers like Kalyanasundaram Pillai, Uma Dogra, Mandakini Trivedi, Manjiri Deo, Jhelum Paranjpe, Daksha Masruwallah, Jayashree Rajagopal, Shubhada Varadkar and Vinod Hasal performing with their troupes on the theme of guru-shishya parampara. Dr. Sandhya Purecha is a recipient of the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award. She is Director of Kala Parichaya and Managing Trustee & Honorable Secretary of Shri Sarfojiraje Bhosale Bharata Natyam Training & Research Centre. She is a noteworthy exponent of the Bharatanatyam style. Gauri Sharma Tripathi is a Director at Amara Nritya Kala Hansa Pvt. Ltd, an Artist-in-Residence at Southbank Centre, and Curator at Alchemy & WOW.
