Who Have Lived Through This Era!

Step into the vibrant world of Bombay through the lens of photography at the upcoming “Hello Bombay” exhibition! From June 7th to June 16th, 2024, immerse yourself in a captivating journey daily from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm.

On the inaugural day, 7th June at 11:00 am, Dr. Avanish Rajan will speak on his wildlife photography book “Motions and Emotions of the Wild”, highlighting the correlation of animals with humans of their ability to express themselves and gesticulate at the same time. Following his insightful presentation, Mukesh Parpiani will interact with him and subsequently also delve into the pages of the World Press Photo 2024 book, offering glimpses into impactful moments captured worldwide.

As you explore the exhibition’s visual feast, visitors will have the opportunity to dive into our collection of photography books, each offering a unique perspective, fostering a deeper appreciation for the art of photography.

Join us to celebrate the spirit of Bombay and its rich visual heritage through the lenses of renowned photographers: late Praful C. Patel, Anil Dave, Vasant Prabhu, Dr. Nitin Sonawane, Maulik Kotak, Vinayak Prabhu, Rajendra Waghmare, Richa Arora, Narendra Dangiya, and Mukesh Parpiani. Their work captures the essence of changing times, showcasing pivotal moments in history, culture, and everyday life from 1972 to 2024, reflecting the rise of digital technology and significant social movements.
